CHRY 4.7L SOHC “STANDARD”
4.7L Chrysler SOHC engine. This part number fits 1999-2004 Grand Cherokee, 2000-2002 Dakota and Durango, & 2002 Ram pickup applications. On all 2002 Durango applications you must verify there is 16 notches in the crank sensor wheel!!
These engines are notorious for dropping valve seats. These seats break into small pieces and get stuck in the intake manifold. If you do not address this issue these pieces will recycle into the new engine causing it to fail. Tri Star highly recommends that you replace the intake manifold. If you are not able to replace it, the intake must be thoroughly cleaned.

This Longblock engine includes block, crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, timing set, oil pump, camshaft, lifters, bearings, gasket set, cylinder heads, valves and springs.
BLOCK
The stress relieved block is completely CNC machined in our state of the art CNC machining center. The block is fully align honed and torque plate honed, then assembled with brass frost plugs and pressure tested.
