350 cubic inch (5.7L) vortec Chevrolet stock replacement engine. 2 bolt main block intended for vehicles 8600 GVW and under. This part number fits 1996-2002 applications with standard bolts. Must verify standard thread starter, bellhousing, and motor mount bolts. Premium longblock with timing cover and oil pan installed. Tri Star supplies high quality Fel-Pro PermaTorque® intake gaskets with this engine to address the common issue of leaks on the intake.
***ENGINE OIL COOLER MUST BE REPLACED FOR WARRANTY***
This Premium Longblock engine includes block, crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, timing set, oil pump, camshaft, lifters, bearings, gasket set, cylinder heads, valves and springs.
BLOCK
The stress relieved block is completely CNC machined in our state of the art CNC machining center. The block is fully align honed and torque plate honed, then assembled with brass frost plugs and pressure tested.
